Izaak is a 70s singer/songwriter with a 21st Century sensibility. Despite his appearance, he is more influenced by Barry White than Rivers Cuomo. It is fair to say that his one obsession(at least the only one he will admit to)is music. From writing really awful song lyrics at 15, he eventually learned how to sing, play instrumentsand write really good lyrics. Izaak was, however, unfocused until three years ago when a friend recruited him to be drummer/backing vocalist for sadly departed pop-punkers Lounge. The break-up of the band left Izaak depressed and drinking even more than usual. After a period of mourning, he decided to take his years of songwriting out of the bedroom and into the real world. About this time, his best friend Mark was setting up a home studio in San Francisco. From the Summer of '99 to the following January, they recorded a CD that bowled over all five people who listened to it. This year, Izaak has written another CDs worth of songs and, as of this writing, the recording is well under way. Both Izaak and Mark hope to increase their audience, finally reaching for the stars and grabbing that sixth listener and the attention of a label/wider audience.
